My 2nd Stitch Fix!

I really meant to post this earlier, but have gotten distracted by other things. So I'm finally posting! This time I requested a cute top for the Lady Antebellum concert as well as more color. I may have also requested the same stylist, Ashley, because I thought she did a good job last time. Here's what she picked for me this time!

She did a great job with my color request as well as a top for the concert! I only kept one item again though. I must've forgotten to say I didn't want dry clean, because the red top was dry clean only. No thanks!!

Ashley suggested that I use either the red top or the Kahlo embroidered top for my concert.

First I tried out the Morgan Wooden Stretch Bracelet by Jenny Bird... it was definitely not my style. Especially not for $54... =/ It went back.

This wasn't an awful dress.... It's Ezra Sansa Dotted Chevron Print 3/4 Sleeve Dress for $68. However it didn't fit at all. I tried to get it on and could barely get it over my boobs. Then I struggled to get it off. Therefore, no photo of me in it! And it went back for sure.

I'm not quite sure why I was sent this piece. This is Tart Alcea Geo Print Maxi Skirt for $128! Yikes. =/ First of all, I'm only 5'2", so maxi skirts do not work on me. At all. And the price definitely doesn't work for me. She suggested that you can also wear it as a strapless dress. But I didn't even try that. I didn't like it well enough for that price. Back it went.

I didn't mind this shirt... It was fairly flattering and a nice material. But it was dry clean only. Boo. This is 19 Cooper Cathleen Split-Neck Tulip-Sleeve Blouse for $68. Another price I wasn't really willing to pay for what it was. This was the first top that Ashley suggested for the concert. But due to the dry clean and price, it went back.

Finally, my favorite item and what I kept! This is the Le Sample Kahlo Embroidered Racerback Tank for $48. This was the second top Ashley suggested for the concert and I LOVE it. The fit is perfect and it seems like it's really well made. The stripes don't come across well in the photos, but they are an olive green. I'm excited to not only wear it to the concert but also all summer! The look I'm planning for the concert is:

Except I'll be wearing my dark jeans and my boots. I can't wait!

If you haven't read my first post about Stitch Fix, an overview is that it's a personal styling company. You fill out a pretty lengthy and detailed style survey and then schedule your fix. You are charged $20 when they put your fix together. Once you get the fix you have three days to try the items on, mix and match with what you already have, etc... whatever you don't like you put in the prepaid bag they provide and simply take it to the post office! It sounds like you can drop it in one of the blue boxes... but I don't trust that. I always walk in and hand it to someone and get a receipt. Just in case. Once you ship it back you go to your account and let them know what you kept ( as well as other questions about fit, what you liked and didn't like). Then you're charged for what you keep. The $20 styling fee is deducted from the total, so you pay the difference. If you keep all five items you get 25% off the total. You really should keep at least one item that way you don't lose the $20. I really love this service! I probably will only do it every so often just because of the price. But it's really fun to try everything on and see what they pick for you! If you'd like to try it ---> https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/3239935  Be sure to use this link so it counts towards a referral credit for me! =)

Also, I had to share....

My box was packed by a Jedi? haha It made me giggle.

Next post will (or should) be on my next FabFitFun and Nina Garcia boxes which should be coming next month! Til then... =)
