PopSugar Must Have December Box

I finally got my first PopSugar Must Have box! I'm not a fan of their choice of shipping which is FedEx  SmartPost... takes FOREVER to get where it's going. But, beggars can't be choosers I suppose. I really thought I would be disappointed in this box after reading spoilers of what was in it... but once I got it, I was way happier than I thought I would be! Here we go!

First look is nicely put together and with a little booklet that describes all the items inside.

Here is everything that came inside! What is it all? Here's the list:
1. Bodum Bistro Double Wall 10 oz Glass Mugs  - $30
2. Tea Forte Tea Sampler - $15
3. Bogdon's Peppermint Poles - $3.99
4. Pinch Good Luck Minimergency Kit - $15
5. Jaboneria Marianella Rejuvenating Face and Body Bar in Almendra - $14
6. GoSwype Cleaning Cloth - $1.99
7. Rent the Runway $30 Off A Rental
Total value = $79.98 (I don't count the rental code as I won't use it)

The mugs are actually very nice and both my mom and I like them. So I think they'll get quite a bit of use. I'm not a hot tea drinker, so I'll be gifting the Tea Forte. I actually enjoyed the peppermint poles and will take those to work to share. I was SO happy and surprised that I got a hot Barbie pink minimergency kit with a shamrock charm for the zipper pull! I was worried I'd get a boring color or icky charm. It's amazing what all fits in that little bag! I'll go over that in a minute. I don't usually use bar soap anymore, but this one smells pretty nice! I'll give it a try. If I don't like it, my mom also liked the scent, so I'll give it to her. I think the GoSwype cloth is super cute! And it actually works really well. It got my phone SO clean. And finally, RTR. This I won't be using. I have no events I need an outfit for. So that's a waste. Ah well. You win some, you lose some. I feel pretty lucky getting the minimergency kit I wanted! Speaking of that, here's the cute little charm!

I love it! Ok, what's inside this little bag? Tons!

This is lip balm, hair spray, clear nail polish, mouth drops, mending kit, two earring backs, two hair elastics, nail file, band aid, floss, Advil, deodorant towelette, stain remover towelette, nail polish remover towelette, double sided tape and a tampon (which I forgot to picture, but whatever).

All in all, I'm pretty happy with my first box! The PopSugar Must Have monthly boxes are $35/month. Interested in joining? Use this link: http://popsu.gr/KXP To get $5 off your first order use the code REFERFRIENDS (this code is valid until 2/28/13)

Now I'm just waiting on my PopSugar Sample Squad sample of Olay's 4 in 1 Daily Facial Cloths to come in! I love all these sample and subscription programs! A lot of fun so far! Til next time, glam it up!

Something New...

Finally I'm posting again! I've started using Influenster and am hoping to get products to review, so I'm going to get going on this site again... hopefully regularly if I can get things to review! I'm also doing Popsugar's Sample Squad and have a sample on it's way of Olay's 4 in 1 Cleansing Towelettes! I also am getting my first box from Popsugar's Must Have this month as well. Should be here any day. Lots to be excited about! Anyway, I did actually try a new nail product last night... Sally Hansen had a new Salon Effects in a French Mani style. Looked super cute on the box so I was pretty excited to try it. Not excited about the price though... $11!! Ouch. So I tried putting these on last night... I didn't even finish. You first apply the tips which you have to make sure to get even or it will look ridiculous. Then you apply the clear over that. And the clear, to me, looked like a sticker. It just wasn't a look I was loving. And way too much work. Here's two fingers I did complete before I removed them ...

Eh. Not impressed. So I took them off and put on my Broadway Nails imPress mani! And in the shade that ALWAYS gets compliments.

Much better! =) I'm loving the imPress manis!! They're so super easy and look great! They last a week at least... so great. Highly recommend them!

Anyway, just wanted to do a little update for now. Also, just got an email from Butter London for free shipping and 30% off the entire order using promo code LASTCHANCE. Only valid for today, the 14th, though. As always, glam it up! =)
